This, is a button with a microswitch installed. |
|
|
|
To remove it's microswitch, pull
up gently on one side, as shown by my thumb's gentle force underneath
the soldered lead.
Now one side of the microswitch chassis is out.
Rock the button towards this side and pull firmly upward, releasing
the microswitch chassis from the button casing.
When pulling upwards, take care to keep control of your hand
so that you don't pull on the wires when the chassis comes free! |
This method has the feeling of rocking
the microswitch back and forth while pulling upwards.
Voila! Your microswitch is now free of the button casing. |
